Cooper Flagg, Dylan Harper, VJ Edgecombe first picks of NBA Draft

When the Duke product heard his name called Wednesday at No. 1 overall in the NBA draft by the Dallas Mavericks, he experienced a flurry of emotions.

Mavericks win NBA draft lottery in stunner

The Mavericks surprisingly won the No. 1 overall pick in Monday’s NBA Draft Lottery in Chicago, and will surely use the pick on Flagg, the Duke star who excelled as a freshman in his one college season.

The March Madness final four teams have been set in a rare only No. 1 seeds match-up after Auburn beat Michigan State, taking the final spot in the semi-finals.
