Trump admin. halts child care payments nationwide until states provide evidence of legitimate spending

The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) announced that the Trump administration is freezing federal child care funding to every single U.S. state after introducing a freeze on Minnesota’s program — in response to ongoing allegations and evidence of widespread fraud.

19 Democrat-led states sue RFK Jr.’s HHS over proposed restrictions to transgender medical treatments for minors

A coalition of 19 Democrat-led U.S. states, along with Washington, D.C., filed a lawsuit against the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) over the agency’s recent declaration announcing an effort to ban “transgender medical care” for minors.

The federal government announced measures to end transgender treatments for children, aimed at protecting minors from what the Department of Health and Human Services (DHS) refers to as “sex-rejecting procedures,” by effectively defunding hospitals offering the treatments.
