Prosecutors seek 7-year sentence for fmr Sen. Bob Menendez’s wife Nadine

Prosecutors say that the wife of former Senator Bob Menendez should serve a minimum of seven years in prison for her role in a bribery scheme that landed her husband in prison for 11 years.

N.Y. Senator Pushes For Harsher Penalties For Animal Cruelty After Bronx Man Sets Pitbull Puppy On Fire

A New York lawmaker is now advocating for increased punishment for individuals found guilty of animal cruelty crimes — after a disturbed 34-year-old man set a pit bull puppy “on fire” after leaving the dog alone with no food or water for a week.
