Chicago Gives Extra $9K In Rental Assistance To Immigrants In Need Of Housing, On Top Of $60M For Staffing

Chicago is providing an additional $9,000 in rental assistance to immigrants in need of housing accommodations, having just paid a medical company an astounding $7.2 million for staffing local shelters for one week, according to official documents released to the press.

San Diego City Council approves ban on homeless encampment in 5-4 vote

The San Diego City Council voted 5-4 late Tuesday night in support of the “Unsafe Camping Ordinance,” which would prohibit tent encampments in all public locations around the city if shelter beds are available.
