Sen. Marsha Blackburn announces bid for Tennessee governor

Senator Marsha Blackburn has announced that she will be running to be the next governor of Tennessee.

Memphis reinstates Justin J. Pearson

Justin J. Pearson has been reinstated to the Tennessee House of Representatives on Wednesday by the Shelby County Board of Commissioners after they approved his appointment as an interim representative for the House District 86 seat.

Tennessee House expels one lawmaker, spares another while 3rd awaits vote

A week after three Democrats organized a gun control demonstration on the House floor, a vote took place to remove the representatives from Tennessee’s Republican-controlled House of Representatives.
