Trump’s ‘Big, Beautiful Bill’ bans Medicaid from financially covering surgery and hormone therapy for transgenders

President Donald Trump’s recently passed “One Big Beautiful Bill” bans Medicaid from covering “gender-affirming care” for both minors and adults who struggle with gender dysphoria.

SCOTUS: Trump can fire independent agency heads, except those at Federal Reserve

On Thursday, the Supreme Court granted a request from the Trump administration that permits the president to dismiss any members of independent federal agencies that he chooses. However, the High Court also indicated that its ruling does not extend to the Federal Reserve.
