Steve Scalise Wins GOP Nomination For House Speaker

Behind closed doors on Wednesday morning, House Republicans chose Majority Leader Steve Scalise as their preferred candidate for speaker. However, it is still unclear if Scalise will be able to get the necessary 217 votes to take the gavel.

RFK Jr. Switches Political Party Affiliation From Democrat To Independent Amid WH Bid

In an effort to resurrect his White House bid, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. announced on Monday that he was leaving the Democrat Party to join the Independent Party.
