El Departamento de Educación de Estados Unidos anuncia un recorte de casi un 50% de su plantilla laboral

Mientras la administración Trump avanza con sus intenciones de reducir drásticamente el tamaño de la agencia, el Departamento de Educación anunció el martes que recortará su plantilla laboral en casi un 50 %. El departamento señaló que “continuará implementando todos los programas legales que son de su competencia, incluyendo la financiación basada en fórmulas, los préstamos estudiantiles, las Becas Pell, la financiación para estudiantes con necesidades especiales y la concesión de subvenciones por concurso”.

Trump Admin Removes Migrant Children From Southwest Key Programs Following Sexual Abuse, Harassment Allegations

All of the unaccompanied illegal immigrant children at the shelters run by Southwest Key Programs, Inc. (Southwest Key) have been transferred to other trusted shelters, according to a statement released today by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).
