From praise to partisan jabs: WH adds description plaques to ‘Presidential Walk of Fame,’ detailing U.S. leaders’ legacies

The White House has installed new plaques beneath the portraits of U.S. presidents — including a framed image of an autopen signature in place of a portrait for former President Joe Biden — in President Donald Trump’s “Presidential Walk of Fame,” a display he created along the West Wing colonnade.

4 Republicans defect from GOP leadership to join Democrat-led discharge petition, forcing vote on Obamacare subsidies extension

Four “moderate” House Republicans signed a Democrat-led discharge petition initiated by House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries. This provides the 218 signatures needed to force a floor vote on a bill extending enhanced Affordable Care Act (ACA, commonly called Obamacare) premium subsidies for three years.
