President Donald Trump issued a hard deadline for Hamas to accept his recently proposed 20-point peace plan on Friday, giving the terror group until Sunday evening to accept the deal or “all HELL” will break out.
The president unveiled the peace plan on Monday during a joint press conference with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
The 20-point peace proposal calls for an immediate end to the war, prompting Israel to withdraw its Israel Defence Forces (IDF) to prepare for the release of all hostages. The proposal demands that Hamas members give up their arms, and would be allowed to remain in Gaza if they “commit to peaceful coexistence.”
The peace plan would then allow for humanitarian aid to flow into Gaza while a transition international body, led by President Trump, establishes a temporary transitional Palestinian committee “responsible for delivering the day-to-day running of public services and municipalities for the people of Gaza.”
Trump’s proposal notes that “Israel will not occupy or annex Gaza,” and that the United States “will establish a dialogue between Israel and the Palestinians to agree on a politican horizon for peaceful and prosperous co-existence.”

The president has attempted to end the war in Gaza since returning to office in January, with his latest proposal being framed as Hamas’ “LAST CHANCE.”
“Hamas has been a ruthless and violent threat, for many years, in the Middle East! They have killed (and made lives unbearably miserable), culminating with the October 7th MASSACRE, in Israel, babies, women, children, old people, and many young men and women, boys and girls, getting ready to celebrate their future lives together. As retribution for the October 7th attack on civilization, more than 25,000 Hamas ‘soldiers’ have already been killed. Most of the rest are surrounded and MILITARILY TRAPPED, just waiting for me to give the word, ‘GO,’ for their lives to be extinguished,” Trump wrote in a Friday Truth Social post.
“Fortunately for Hamas, however, they will be given one last chance!” he said. “Great, powerful, and very rich Nations of the Middle East, and the surrounding areas beyond, together with the United States of America, have agreed, with Israel signing on, to PEACE, after 3000 years, in the Middle East. THIS DEAL ALSO SPARES THE LIVES OF ALL REMAINING HAMAS FIGHTERS!”
“An Agreement must be reached with Hamas by Sunday Evening at SIX (6) P.M., Washington, D.C. time. Every Country has signed on! If this LAST CHANCE agreement is not reached, all HELL, like no one has ever seen before, will break out against Hamas. THERE WILL BE PEACE IN THE MIDDLE EAST ONE WAY OR THE OTHER,” Trump added.
Meanwhile, Hamas is reportedly expected to respond “positively” to Trump’s proposal, despite initial conflicting reports, while also requesting a series of changes, according to The Times of Israel, citing a source familiar with the negotiations.
Hamas officials have reportedly held talks in Doha with Egyptian and Qatari mediators in regards to the plan, although both have indicated that some amendments may need to be made.
“There are a lot of holes that need to be filled. We need more discussions on how to implement it, especially on two important issues — governance and security arrangements,” stated Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty on Thursday. “We are supportive of the Trump plan and the vision to end war and need to move forward.”
Abdelatty went on to note that Qatar, Egypt, and Turkey are pressuring Hamas to accept to plan, as a failure to do so would likely result in a major escalation.
“If Hamas refuses, you know, then it would be very difficult. And of course, we will have more escalation. So that’s why we are exerting our intensive efforts in order to make this plan applicable and to get the approval of Hamas.”
Abdelatty added that Hamas leadership understands that it “has no role in the day after” the war.
“This is a full agreement among us, as Arabs, as Muslims, and even among Hamas people themselves. They understand very well that they have no role for the day after, and this is a fact.”
