Four people have been injured as fire broke out in a Brooklyn, New York subway tracks.
On Sunday, at about 6:30 p.m., a fire broke out on the tracks, according to the Fire Department of New York, and firefighters were called to the High Street-Brooklyn Bridge station on the A and C lines.
The fire took approximately sixty minutes to contain.
Those who were hurt were transported to the hospital with minor wounds.
According to reports, a fire started beneath a train.
Although the cause is being looked into, it is thought to be connected to the trash on the tracks.
A/C trains were briefly rerouted onto the F line, according to a social media post from NYC Transit. However, service had returned, albeit with delays, just after 8 p.m.
