DHS purchases six Boeing 737s to form deportation fleet, saving taxpayers $279M

The Department of Homeland Security has confirmed its purchase of six Boeing 737 planes, creating its own fleet that will be used for deportation flights.

Eileen Higgins, a Democrat and former Miami-Dade County commissioner, defeated Republican Emilio González, a former city manager, in the Miami mayoral runoff election on Tuesday.

Nat’l Security Overhaul: CBP proposes 5-year search of foreign tourists’ social media accounts, email addresses, family info and more

Customs and Border Protection (CBP) proposed a new rule on Tuesday to change Visa Waiver Program (VWP) eligibility, requiring foreign tourists to disclose their social media history from the past five years along with other personal information not previously asked for.

House Armed Services Committee set to conclude probe into Sept. 2 narcoterrorism vessel strike

White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles, whom President Donald Trump has publicly crowned the “most powerful woman in the world,” shared that Trump will be fully involved in the GOP campaign trail ahead of next year’s midterm elections, stating in an interview on Monday that he will campaign “like it’s 2024 again.”
