Libya sentences 23 ISIS members to death

A Libyan court sentenced 23 suspected Islamic State group militants to death for attacks which killed dozens of people that include Egyptian Coptic Christians, and seizing the city of Sirte in 2015.

Trial of 2018 Tree of Life synagogue shooter begins

The federal trial of the suspect in the Tree of Life synagogue shooting, the deadliest anti-Semitic attack in United States history, which killed 11 people and injured seven others in 2018 began on Tuesday.

China planning to land their astronauts on the moon by 2030

According to Chinese officials, China’s expanding space program plans to build its own orbiting space station and send their astronauts to the moon by 2030.

White Sox player Liam Hendriks returns, months after cancer diagnosis

Following his non-Hodgkin lymphoma diagnosis, Chicago White Sox closer Liam Hendriks had announced that he was in remission. Over a month later, he is now scheduled to join the active roster again on Monday.

Biden admits son Beau died from cancer and not in Iraq, 11 days after claiming he died in war

At a Memorial Day speech on Monday, President Joe Biden admitted that his late son Beau had died of brain cancer, not combat, 11 days after falsely telling U.S. troops in Japan that Beau had died “in Iraq.”
