Australia to recognize Palestinian state at UN General Assembly, joining other countries

On Monday, Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese announced that Australia will officially recognize a Palestinian state in September, joining a growing number of foreign nations opposing Israel’s military response to the abducted hostages being held in Gaza by Hamas.

President Donald Trump stated that his administration is currently “looking at” reclassifying marijuana to a lower risk category. Trump speaks with Netanyahu after Israel approves plan to militarily occupy Gaza Strip

President Donald Trump spoke with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Sunday after the Israeli security cabinet greenlit Netanyahu’s plan to engage in a full-scale military occupation of Gaza to destroy the remaining Hamas strongholds and attempt to retrieve the remaining hostages.
