California budget deficit is nearly at $32 billion

California Governor Gavin Newsom said that the budget deficit in his state has reached nearly $32 billion on Friday, which is $10 billion higher than he had said earlier in 2023.

Ted Cruz slams Biden over border situation

Senator Ted Cruz visited the Rio Grande along the border in Browsville, Texas on Thursday to show support for the overworked Border Patrol agents while also delivering remarks directed at President Joe Biden in regards to the situation that has been unfolding along the southern border.

Marine veteran faces charges over subway death

Daniel Penny, the Marine veteran who placed Jordan Neely in a chokehold, which resulted in the death of Neely, has turned himself in to authorities and faces one count of manslaughter charge.
