History and Civics scores drop for 8th graders; COVID lockdowns hurt children’s education

In the latest national report card, U.S. History and Civics scores dropped for 8th graders. This as on the heels of The American Federation of Teachers President, Randi Weingarten,  testifying last week before congress regarding school closures during the pandemic. One America’s Stella Escobedo spoke with former educator, Rebecca Friedrichs, about the negative effects lockdowns had on our children’s education.
