(Reuters) – Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE.N) said on Friday HP Inc’s (HPQ.N) finance chief Marie Myers would join the server maker as its chief financial officer (CFO) on Jan. 15.
Myers, who was HP’s finance lead during the separation of Hewlett-Packard Co in 2015, served as the PC maker’s CFO since 2021.
She will succeed Tarek Robbiati, who left the company in August for cloud communications provider RingCentral (RNG.N).
Last month, HPE provided a dour forecast for the current quarter, as the industry grappled with clients cutting back on IT spending. A recovery is expected next year, analysts have said.
Jeremy Cox, who served as the interim CFO, will return to his position as senior vice president, corporate controller, and chief tax officer, HPE said.
Meanwhile, HP, which is contending with a slower PC market recovery, appointed Timothy Brown as interim CFO. Brown has been senior vice president-finance since November 2021.
The companies’ shares were down about 1% in early trading.
