UPS fires about 35 newly organized US workers, Teamsters union says

The Teamsters union that represents U.S. workers at UPS said it would respond to the firing of about 35 newly organized workers by filing unfair labor practice charges and potentially striking.

UPS And Teamsters Union Reach Labor Deal, Avoiding More Strikes

On Tuesday, UPS and the Teamsters union, which represents approximately 340,000 workers at the package carrier, announced a tentative labor agreement that includes raises for both full-time and part-time employees avoiding a potential strike that was scheduled to begin next week.
