Turkey heads to election runoff

Turkey will hold a runoff election on May 18th as the current Turkish President, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, faced his strongest challenger in 20 years.

Finland to become 31st member of NATO

Turkey’s parliament approved Finland’s NATO application on Thursday, making it the 31st nation in the Western defense alliance.
