Biden Cancels $6B In Student Debt For 78,000 Public Service Workers

President Joe Biden announced on Thursday that the White House approved the cancellation of $6 billion in federal student debt for “thousands of public service workers.”

The Biden administration has announced they are canceling another $1.2 billion in student loan debt for over 150,000 borrowers, six months ahead of schedule.

The Biden administration announced that it will be cancelling a total of $39 billion in student debt, affecting around 804,000 borrowers.
