Highland Park Parade Shooting Suspect Rejects Offered Plea Deal

During a hearing on Wednesday, the suspect in the July 4th parade shooting at Chicago’s Highland Park rejected a plea agreement.

CA Bill Takes Aim at Parental Notification

Democrat lawmakers in CA are determined to get rid of parental notifications and introduced AB 1955. Those fighting against the bill say its an attack on parental rights and school boards. The bill aims to override parental notification policies that are being put in place in school districts across the state.

For The First Time, A Transgender Wins Miss Maryland Beauty Pageant

Bailey Anne became the first transgender to win the Miss Maryland USA contest. Anne becomes the first transgender to hold the title, along with being the first Asian-American and the first “military officer’s wife” to represent the state.
