According to Chinese officials, China’s expanding space program plans to build its own orbiting space station and send their astronauts to the moon by 2030.

Russian court extends WSJ reporter Evan Gershkovich’s detainment

The imprisonment of American journalist Evan Gershkovich in Russia took a concerning turn as a court ruling on Tuesday extended his detention for an additional three months. Gershkovich’s ordeal, which began with his arrest on unspecified charges, has continued to raise alarm among press freedom advocates and the international community.
