Controversial project known as ‘Cop City’ gets funding approval from Atlanta City Council

Atlanta City Council on Tuesday morning approved funding for the construction of a police and firefighter training center, who hundreds of activists called “Cop City,” as they stood in City Hall in opposition of the project.

Daniel Perry sentenced to 25 years in prison

France’s Constitutional Council new pension reform

The divisive proposal to raise the retirement age in France from 62 to 64 was approved by the Constitutional Council on Friday, giving President Emmanuel Macron a triumph after months of widespread demonstrations that have weakened his authority.
