US inflation ebbs in May as goods prices fall

U.S. monthly inflation was unchanged in May as a modest increase in the cost of services was offset by the largest drop in goods prices in six months.

Inflation Readings Come in Hotter-Than-Expected

Producer prices came in higher than expected today, so did the consumers prices earlier this week. Producer prices show what producers pay to make goods, which ultimately affects consumers.
