Supreme Court Blocks Purdue Pharma Bankruptcy Opioid Settlement

The Supreme Court blocked the historic opioid settlement, involving opioid maker Purdue Pharma on Thursday, stating that the settlement inappropriately included legal protections for the Sackler family.

Drugmaker Amneal agrees to $270 million U.S. opioid settlement

Amneal said on Friday it had reached a deal valued at more than $270 million to resolve claims it helped fuel the deadly U.S. opioid epidemic.

Publicis Health Agrees To $350M Settlement Over Role In America’s Opioid Epidemic

Attorney General (AG) Andrea Joy Campbell announced a $350 million national settlement with Publicis Health in order to settle claims that the company helped OxyContin maker Purdue Pharma fuel the deadly opioid epidemic in the United States.
