Early voting begins in NYC

The recent redistricting involving New York City council seats has triggered some competitive primary races set for June 27th and early voting in them begins Saturday.

NYC Police Commissioner Keechant Sewell resigns after 18 months on the job

Keechant L. Sewell, the first-ever female police commissioner in New York City who was appointed by Mayor Eric Adams, is stepping down after 18 months in her position.

NYC Mayor sues more than 30 NY counties for refusing to house migrants

New York City Mayor Eric Adams is suing 30 New York counties for blocking the city from housing migrants in their towns.

NYC’s first ‘safe’ drug and sex vending machine is empty less than 24-hrs after installation

Less than a day after being introduced by New York City officials, the city’s first “public health” vending machine, which distributes items such as free condoms, crack pipes, and Narcan, a medication that reverses drug overdoses, is now empty after an influx of locals discovered the machine.
