Board of directors extend Disney CEO Bob Iger’s contract

Iowa GOP passes six-week abortion ban

Iowa lawmakers voted on Tuesday to ban most abortions after around six weeks of pregnancy in a single-day meeting that lasted 14 hours.

Abbott appoints Angela Colmenero as new attorney general

Texas Governor Greg Abbott has appointed Angela Colmenero, a longtime aide, to serve as the state’s second acting attorney general, following the impeachment of Ken Paxton during his trial for alleged misconduct and crimes, according to the governor’s office.
