WSJ reporter’s appeal denied by Moscow Court

The Russian courts decided on Thursday to deny the appeal of a Wall Street Journal reporter who was detained on espionage charges, keeping him in detention until August.

Santos’ guarantors who paid $500,000 bond revealed

After Rep. George Santos’ attempt to keep the names sealed, it has now been revealed that Santos’ Aunt, Velma Santos Preven, and his father, Gercino Dos Santos Jr., are the guarantors who paid his $500,000 bond.

32-year-old woman pretends to be a student at three high schools 

Police in Boston have launched an investigation into a 32-year-old woman who purportedly enrolled as a student at multiple high schools over the last year.

Explosion in Paris injures more than 20 people

Twenty-nine people have been injured, four of them “critically injured”, after early reports suggested a gas leak caused a large explosion in central Paris.

Former Bills punter plans to sue accuser’s lawyer for defamation over gang rape

Former NFL punter, Matt Araiza, who was cleared from any criminal charges when he was accused of rape last year, plans to sue the lawyer of his accuser for defamation.

Pentagon ‘accounting error’ allegedly overestimated value of weapons sent to Ukraine

The Pentagon announced Tuesday that an accounting error made last month revealed that it overestimated the value of weapons sent to Ukraine by $6.2 billion, more than double the purported true estimate.
