US auto safety agency upgrades probe into Tesla power steering loss

U.S. safety regulators have upgraded their probe into Tesla vehicles over power steering loss to an engineering analysis.

Ford recalls 2.24 million Ford Explorer SUVs over trim-retention clips

Ford said it was recalling 2.24 million older Explorer sport utility vehicles because trim retention clips may not be properly engaged.

Tesla is recalling over two million of its vehicles, due to an “Autosteer” function that allegedly does not “ensure the safety of its drivers.”

Tesla recalls 2 million US vehicles over lack of Autopilot safeguards

Tesla is recalling just over two million vehicles in the United States fitted with its Autopilot advanced driver-assistance system to install new safeguards.

Auto Safety Regulators Seek to Recall 52 Million Airbags

On Tuesday, federal auto safety regulators stated that nearly 52 million airbag systems manufactured by ARC Automotive Inc. and Delphi Automotive could be dangerous to drivers and should be recalled after the parts caused two deaths that should have been prevented.

Biden set to propose toughest rules yet on car pollution, paving way for EV

The Biden administration is on course to propose the strictest car pollution regulations ever made in the United States, but will refrain from imposing an electric vehicle (EV) mandate or outlawing gas-powered vehicles.
