House Speaker Mike Johnson Announces Vote On Bill To Avert Government Shutdown

Speaker of the House Mike Johnson has announced that the House will be voting on a three-month stopgap funding bill to keep the federal government open until December 20th.

Special counsel Jack Smith has appealed the ruling that dismissed his classified records Mar-a-Lago case against former President Donald Trump stating that his point is valid.

Julian Assange Reaches Plea Deal With U.S.

According to court filings, Julian Assange, the founder of WikiLeaks, intends to enter into a plea agreement with the U.S. Justice Department this week to admit guilt to a conspiracy charge. This will allow Assange to be released from a five-year sentence in a UK prison.
