House Oversight Committee Moves To Hold Merrick Garland In Contempt

The House Committee on Oversight, along with Accountability Chairman James Comer, have moved to hold Attorney General Merrick Garland in contempt of Congress over his failure to comply with a subpoena.

House Republicans are threatening to hold Attorney General Merrick Garland in contempt in pursuit of audio recordings related to Special Counsel Robert Hur’s interview with President Biden.

House GOP Suggests Holding AG Garland In Contempt Of Congress Over Biden Interview Recordings

In response to the Justice Department’s failure to turn over subpoenaed audio recordings of Special Counsel Robert Hur’s interview with President Biden as part of the probe into his handling of classified documents, House Republicans have threatened to hold Attorney General Merrick Garland in contempt of Congress.
