Marine veteran faces charges over subway death

Daniel Penny, the Marine veteran who placed Jordan Neely in a chokehold, which resulted in the death of Neely, has turned himself in to authorities and faces one count of manslaughter charge.

New York City Mayor Eric Adams criticized Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez for rushing to the conclusion that Jordan Neely was “murdered” when he was restrained by a Marine veteran via chokehold.
