Walmart shooter receives 90 consecutive life sentences for 2019 attack

90 consecutive life sentences were handed down to the Texas man who killed 23 people at an El Paso Walmart in a targeted shooting against individuals of Mexican origin.

Florida legalizes the death sentence without requiring a unanimous jury vote

In response to the life sentence given to the shooter who murdered 17 people at a Parkland high school, the Florida Legislature approved a bill on Thursday that would soon remove the requirement for unanimous jury recommendations before judges can impose death sentences.
