DeSantis signs Florida bill defunding DEI programs at public colleges

Governor Ron DeSantis signed a bill on Monday that bans the Sunshine State’s public colleges from funding diversity, equality, and inclusion programs, prohibiting the way that race has been represented and taught in many courses.

Supreme Court rejects challenge to CA pork law that mandates more space for pigs

A California animal welfare law that forbids the sale of pork from breeding pigs kept in cramped quarters has been rejected by the Supreme Court on Thursday.

Paris Hilton backs bipartisan bill, tackling the industry of ‘troubled teens’

New Minnesota law could place you on govt bias registry if you say COVID-19 came from China

During a discussion of new proposed measures, State Representative Harry Niska questioned if asserting that COVID-19 originated in China, or if commending Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling would constitute biased speech that could put individuals on a government database and watchlist.
