Texas bill to set new standard for sexually explicit material in books

In a decisive move on Tuesday night, Texas lawmakers passed a new bill that aims to establish a strict standard and rating for sexually explicit material found in books across the state.

New Florida bill passes banning Chinese citizens from buying land

Florida’s Legislature has approved a bill that forbids Chinese nationals from owning property in the Sunshine State, which Governor Ron DeSantis will be signing into law.

The Federal Reserve raises interest rates by a quarter-point

The Federal Reserve has raised interest rates by a quarter-point, marking the10th consecutive rate hike and moving the benchmark rate to a range of 5% to 5.25%, the highest in 16 years.
