Kenya Wildlife Services Confirms Fatal Hyena Attack, Student Protests For Campus Safety

The Kenya Wildlife Services (KWS) announced that one person was killed and two people were severely injured by a hyena near a university in Rongai, Kenya, prompting student protests calling for heightened safety measures on campus.

Death Toll Rises To At Least 130 In Kenya, Somalia And Ethiopia Floods

The death toll continues to rise from flooding in Kenya, Ethiopia and Somalia.

U.S. announces $524M for Horn of Africa climate crisis, others join

During a United Nations summit, the United States announced a significant contribution of approximately $524 million in humanitarian aid for the Horn of Africa.
