Kari Lake’s final claim in election suit is dismissed by judge

Democrat Katie Hobbs’ election win was upheld on Monday after a judge dismissed the last remaining legal claim in Republican Kari Lake’s protest of her loss in the race for governor of Arizona.

Charges against Andrew Gillum are dropped

Andrew Gillum, the 2018 gubernatorial candidate who lost the election to current Governor Ron DeSantis, was found not guilty by a jury on one count and hung on remaining charges that he stole money from his campaign and accepted bribery gifts, including tickets to the Broadway musical “Hamilton.”

Supreme Court throws out convictions in NY corruption scandals

The Supreme Court has sided with Joseph Percoco, a former adviser to former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, who said on Thursday that a federal anti-bribery statute should not have been applied to imprison him.
