Commanders outscore Lions for berth in NFC title game

The visiting Commanders are headed to the NFC Championship Game after dispatching the top-seeded Detroit Lions 45-31 in the NFC divisional round.

Jared Goff connected with Sam LaPorta for two touchdowns and the Detroit Lions extended their winning streak to 10 games by holding off the visiting Chicago Bears 23-20.
