U.S. Federal Prisons Failed To Stop Almost 200 Deaths By Suicide, DOJ Watchdog Finds

According to a Justice Department watchdog insider, the Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP) failed to prevent the deaths of 187 inmates who died by suicide over an eight-year span, according to a released report.

Six inmates from the St. Louis Justice Center jail are facing charges related to the abduction of a 73-year-old jail guard.

Pennsylvania Senate approves law reducing probation and jail sentencing
