Tiny pacific island nation welcomes 75 U.S. deportees for $7.5M

Palau has made a deal to accept 75 deportees from the United States in exchange for $7.5 million in foreign aid and other benefits.

Florida 12-year-old Bruhat Soma Wins 96th Scripps National Spelling Bee

12-year-old Bruhat Soma of Florida won the 96th annual Scripps National Spelling Bee on Thursday night after defeating all seven other finalists and beating his final competitor in the competition’s second-ever spell-off.
