FBI reveals 1983 plot to kill Queen Elizabeth II during U.S. visit

Late Queen Elizabeth II is revealed to have been the target of an assassination plot during her official visit to the United States forty years ago on March 1983, according to an FBI report.

Father and son sentenced after $20M lottery scheme

A father and son from Massachusetts have been sentenced in federal court after orchestrating a conspiracy to fraudulently claim over $20 million in lottery prizes and evade paying more than $6 million in federal taxes.

Typhoon Mawar hits Guam

Super Typhoon Mawar, described as the most significant storm to hit Guam in decades, made landfall on Wednesday, bringing with it torrential rains, life-threatening storm surge, and Category 4 hurricane-force winds.

New Ridesharing App: like Uber, but with guns

A new ridesharing app called Black Wolf has made its debut in New York and Atlanta, offering a unique feature that sets it apart from other platforms. Founder and former private investigator Kerry King Brown has created an app that allows drivers to be armed while providing transportation services.

Russian court extends WSJ reporter Evan Gershkovich’s detainment
