Over 1,200 Cornell Workers Go On Strike On College Move-In Day

Over 1,200 members of the United Auto Workers (UAW) at Cornell University have gone on strike on the first college move-in day.

Detroit Casino Workers Strike After Failed Negotiations

In recent months, U.S. workers in various industries have been standing up across the country, seeking better wages, retirement, and healthcare, among other benefits. Thousands of Detroit-based casino employees are now the latest to join the picket lines, voicing that the industry is “long overdue” for pay raises.

Actors Strike Continues After Negotiations Stall

Negotiations between Hollywood’s major studios and SAG-AFTRA — the union that represents more than 160,000 actors and performers — have been suspended after two weeks.
