U.S. military helicopter accident leaves 22 injured in Syria

United States Central Command announced that a helicopter “mishap” over the weekend left 22 service members injured in Syria.

Pentagon aims for human-controlled measures to ensure AI doesn’t ‘make decisions for us’

According to two of the top Artificial Intelligence (AI) consultants in U.S. Central Command, the U.S. military is embracing AI as a tool for fast analyzing data and assisting leaders in making the best judgments, not to make those decisions for the humans in charge.

ISIS commander killed in Syria by U.S. military

A drone strike that was carried out by the American-led coalition in Syria has killed a senior member of the Islamic State group.
