McDonald’s Quarter Pounders have been linked to a series of hospital visits stemming from the ingestion of a deadly E. coli strain, causing one known death and leaving 75 people ill so far.

CDC: 1 Dead, 49 Falls Ill Following E. Coli Outbreak Linked To McDonald’s Quarter Pounder 

The United States Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) issued a food safety alert after one person died and 49 others fell ill from E. coli, and officials believe the outbreak is linked to McDonald’s Quarter Pounder burgers.

LAPD Seizes Over $4M Worth Of Fentanyl And Heroin, Enough Fentanyl To Kill Every L.A. County Resident

The Los Angeles Police Department seized over 50 pounds of fentanyl, as well as nine pounds of black tar heroin and $14,500 in south Los Angeles this week, equating to over 4 million dollars in worth, the police announced.

Almost 10M Pounds Of Meat Recalled Due To Listeria Outbreak

BrucePac, a producer of ready-to-eat meat and poultry items, has recalled over 9.9 million pounds of product due to possible listeria contamination, the U.S. Department of Agriculture announced it on Wednesday.
