CDC issues malaria warning after 5 cases are reported in Florida and Texas

On Monday, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) issued a health notice to doctors, public health officials, and members of the public after recording five recent cases of malaria acquired in the United States in the previous two months.

CDC director leaves agency

President Joe Biden has announced that the director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Dr. Rochelle Walensky, 54, will be leaving the agency.

FDA withdraws authorization for original COVID-19 vaccines

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is now claiming that in order to make the immunization process simpler for the majority of people, the emergency use authorizations (EUAs) for the original Moderna and Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 mRNA vaccines are no longer in effect.
