Report: LAFD Command Underutilized Resources During Critical Early Hours Of Palisades Fire

A new report has revealed that bosses at the Los Angeles Fire Department chose to deploy only a small fraction of its firefighters and trucks to the overwhelming Palisades Fire — after the fire was already raging out of control.

L.A. County Fires Death Toll Rises To 24 Lives Lost, With At Least 16 Still Missing

As the fires in Los Angeles County and surrounding areas continue to rage on, officials have confirmed that 24 people have been killed as a result of the catastrophe, along with 16 more missing as the death toll is expected to rise even higher.

Tens of thousands of people have been forced to evacuate their homes in Southern California as the massive wildfires continue to burn across the Pacific Palisades and surrounding areas.

Calif: National Guard Deployed To Fight So-Cal Fires ‘Threatening Thousands’ Of Residences

In the midst of this week’s triple-digit heatwave, firefighters and the state National Guard were fighting to contain three large wildfires that were raging throughout Southern California on Tuesday. The fires still remain a threat to thousands of homes, officials reported.
