Calif. Fast Food Minimum Wage Hike Continues Impacting Positions, Businesses: 10,000 Jobs Lost

As struggling businesses reduce labor expenses and boost prices to counteract wage hikes, fast food restaurants in California have eliminated over 10,000 jobs as a result of the state’s new $20 minimum wage, according to a trade group that reported the findings on Thursday.

Biden Administration Announces Additional Tariffs On Chinese Imports

The Biden administration unveiled a new round of tariffs on $18 billion of Chinese imports. The White House said the tariff increases will protect American workers and businesses in response to China’s unfair trade practices.
