Texas Senate advances ‘Ten Commandments’ bill

Senate Bill 1515, a bill that was adopted by the Texas Senate on Thursday, will require all public schools to display the Ten Commandments in every classroom.

Florida House of Representatives passes six-week abortion ban, DeSantis likely to sign bill into law

The Republican-led Florida legislature enacted a law on Thursday outlawing the majority of abortions beyond six weeks and forwarded it to Governor Ron DeSantis. Desantis has declared that he will sign the bill into law.

Senator John Fetterman is planning on returning to the Senate during the week of April 17th, after more than a month of inpatient rehabilitation for clinical depression, according to two unnamed sources with firsthand knowledge.
