Tree Of Life Synagogue Shooter Is Now Eligible For The Death Penalty

A mass shooter convicted in the 2018 killings at Pittsburgh synagogue is eligible to face the death penalty as ruled by the United States jury.

FDA Approves First ever Non-prescription Birth Control Pill

The first non-prescription birth control pill in the United States, Opill, was given the green light on Thursday by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration to be sold over-the-counter.

6-year-old Miami girl escapes alleged kidnapping

Police say that a 6-year-old girl in Miami, Florida, reportedly saved herself from an attempted abduction by biting the arm of the kidnapper.

The D.C. Council has approved emergency legislation to address the District’s ongoing issues with violent crime.
