Supreme Court places temporary hold on abortion drug ruling

Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito temporarily blocked a Texas court decision, which restricted patients from obtaining Mifepristone by mail, making the drug widely available again.

Florida House of Representatives passes six-week abortion ban, DeSantis likely to sign bill into law

The Republican-led Florida legislature enacted a law on Thursday outlawing the majority of abortions beyond six weeks and forwarded it to Governor Ron DeSantis. Desantis has declared that he will sign the bill into law.
